Colombian psychologist with an MSc in Cognitive
Psychology from the University of Buenos Aires and a PhD in
Language Sciences from Aix-Marseille Université. He has
completed postdoctoral research stays at the University of
Cologne (Germany) and UNAM (Mexico). His work is situated at
the intersection of cognition, language, education,
communication, and artificial intelligence applied to social
and educational contexts. He has conducted basic and applied
research on speech perception, prosody, text comprehension,
creativity, interaction, mental health, and educational uses
of digital technologies, including generative artificial
intelligence. He has published in specialized journals in
Spanish, English, and French, and has presented his work at
national and international conferences and academic
meetings. His experience includes in-person and online
university teaching, supervision of undergraduate, master’s,
and doctoral theses, academic evaluation, and advisory work
on the design of pedagogical strategies in educational
institutions. He is interested in contributing to research,
teaching, and science communication initiatives that connect
the study of cognition, language, and behavior with
contemporary issues in education, mental health,
communication, and interaction with emerging technologies. Psicólogo colombiano,
magíster en Psicología Cognitiva por la Universidad de
Buenos Aires y doctor en Ciencias del Lenguaje por
Aix-Marseille Université. Ha realizado estancias
postdoctorales en la Universidad de Colonia (Alemania) y en
la UNAM (México). Su trayectoria se sitúa en el cruce entre
cognición, lenguaje, educación, comunicación e inteligencia
artificial aplicada a contextos sociales y formativos. Ha
desarrollado investigación básica y aplicada sobre
percepción del habla, prosodia, comprensión de textos,
creatividad, interacción, salud mental y usos educativos de
tecnologías digitales, incluida la inteligencia artificial
generativa. Ha publicado en revistas especializadas en
español, inglés y francés, y ha presentado trabajos en
congresos y encuentros académicos nacionales e
internacionales. Su experiencia incluye docencia
universitaria presencial y virtual, dirección de tesis de
pregrado, maestría y doctorado, evaluación académica y
asesoría para el diseño de estrategias pedagógicas en
instituciones educativas. Le interesa contribuir a procesos
de investigación, formación y divulgación que conecten el
estudio de la cognición, el lenguaje y el comportamiento con
problemas contemporáneos en educación, salud mental,
comunicación e interacción con tecnologías emergentes.
